The Waiuku Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) would like to extend a warm welcome to your family.

We are very fortunate to have a friendly, motivated and hardworking PTA. We are very involved in school life and hold not just fundraisers but fun and entertaining activities for the students, your children.
Our involvement ranges from holding sausage sizzles, raffles, and ice block days to holding larger fundraising events like bingo nights and galas. Much to the delight of the students, we hold our very popular PTA discos and movie nights. These events are great fun with the benefit of being a fundraiser.
As a PTA, we support the teaching staff and students in any area possible.
All the money we raise goes back to the school by providing funding towards Education Outside the Classroom (E.O.T.C) and for a variety of school projects. This benefits your child and school.
Our meetings are held once a month at 7 pm in the school staff-room. We regularly up date the school Facebook page as to what we are up to and will always advertise our meetings on this page, please also keep an eye on the school calendar. We always welcome new faces at the meetings, always welcome new ideas and you are welcome to come along to just meet us and see what we are all about. It is a great way to get involved in your children’s school and meet some wonderful people in your community.
There are many ways you can be involved. You can become a Friend of the PTA, you will then be sent the minutes from all the meetings and kept up to date with what the PTA are up to. There is something for everyone to get everyone involved in. There is no obligation to take on large roles or responsibilities, just come along to meet new people, have fun and take part in helping your school.
